Grady’s Journey Here:
Grady Laxey has been a delivery driver for Home Furniture Plus Bedding since 2007. He has always put safety and customer service first. Before joining our team, Grady was a driver for Conn’s and Magnolia Liquor.
What do you like best about your job?
“I like being on the road meeting people. I like challenges and fixing things… making good things happen. I like the people I work with, and the company is very fair. I have nothing but good things to say about Home Furniture.”
Johnathan Savoy, Delivery Operations Manager, adds, “Grady is just a cut above, no matter the delivery or situation, he will make sure it is done professionally and respectfully. He takes pride in himself and his work. He embodies the Home Furniture Company way. He is always engaged and puts forth his best effort.”
When Grady is not at work:
“I love how my job here allows me to spend time with my family! My wife and I like traveling and being with our grandkids.”

“This job is not for everyone but try it! If it’s for you, stay at it because if you do what you like to do, then it’s not really a ‘job’.”
Born and raised in Lafayette, LA, Grady resides in his hometown with his wife, Vanessa. They have four children and six grandchildren.
