At Home Furniture Plus Bedding, we believe that giving back to our community is not just an obligation, but a privilege. This commitment was beautifully exemplified this morning when our team had the opportunity to volunteer at Live Oak Elementary School. As the school bell rang in the start of a new academic year, our team members were on hand to greet the bright, eager faces of students on their first day.

From the moment the first cars pulled up, we were excited to be a part of this special day. Our volunteers helped open car doors, assisted with carrying school supplies, and guided students to their classrooms. It was a morning filled with smiles, laughter, and a shared sense of community.
Being there to lend a helping hand made a significant impact, not just on the students and their families, but on our team as well. There’s something incredibly rewarding about knowing you’ve played a small part in making someone’s day a little brighter, especially on a day as important as the first day of school.
As we reflect on this experience, we’re reminded of the importance of community and the role we all play in supporting one another. We’re grateful for the opportunity to serve and are already looking forward to more chances to give back in the future.
