Purchase and Warranty Information

Home Furniture Plus Bedding offers a one-year limited warranty on all new merchandise excluding accessories, clearance items, or items sold “as-is”. No exchanges, returns, refunds, or warranties are given on any "as-is" or floor sample merchandise.

No warranty or exchanges will be offered on any merchandise that is purchased for commercial use or purchased on a commercial account. Please inspect merchandise upon pick up or delivery for defects or damages. A $65 per hour charge will be applied to any repairs or service calls to all furniture that falls under this category.

Upholstery refers to sofas, loveseats, ottomans, sectionals, recliners, and chairs. Case Goods includes items such as dressers, nightstands, chest of drawers, tables, dining chairs, desks, and beds. If you need more information, please contact Customer Service.

  • Cushions, Sleeper Mechanisms, and Reclining Mechanisms are covered by the manufacturer's warranty, if any.
  • Manufacturer's warranty and restrictions will supersede any Home Furniture Plus Bedding policies.
  • Mold and mildew are not covered under warranty.
  • Original plastic or other protective covering must be removed after delivery or pickup, otherwise warranty is voided.
  • Extended storage or usage of the merchandise while still encapsulated in plastic covering can cause mold and mildew.
  • Customer is ultimately responsible for the removal of original packaging and subsequent storage.
  • Refunds, less a 10% restocking fee, may be allowed within 48 hours of pickup or delivery of merchandise.
  • Refunds will be issued within 15 working days in the form of a check unless originally purchased with a credit card or financing.
  • Each mattress, foundation, adjustable base, or box spring may have its own limited warranty by the manufacturer.
  • Using a mattress without the following requirements may void manufacturer's warranty: protector, cover, foundation, solid surface, non-spring base.
  • Proper care and maintenance must be followed to keep warranties from being voided.
  • Manufacturer's warranty and restrictions will supersede any other Home Furniture Plus Bedding policies.
  • We do not accept returns on any adjustable bases. Please refer to manufacturer's warranty for these items.
  • Mold and mildew are not covered under warranty.
  • Original plastic or other protective covering (not including breathable mattress protectors sold separately) must be removed after delivery or pickup, otherwise warranty is voided.
  • Extended storage or usage of the merchandise while still encapsulated in plastic covering can cause mold and mildew.
  • Customer is ultimately responsible for the removal of original packaging and subsequent storage.

Home Furniture Plus Bedding does not offer a warranty on accessories. Returns or exchanges on accessories may be allowed within 48 hours of pickup or delivery of merchandise. Accessories are defined as, but not limited to: lamps, mirrors, pictures, rugs, decorative pieces for tables, etc.

Home Furniture Plus Bedding covers labor and service call charges regarding manufacturer's defects only for one (1) year from date of purchase. A $75 per hour fee is charged on all repairs and services after the first year.

If you have chosen not to purchase our complete delivery and setup service (which includes assembly), Home Furniture Plus Bedding charges an assembly fee of $55 per hour.

Home Furniture's delivery charge covers:

  • Set up of furniture being delivered
  • Inspection of furniture being delivered
  • Removal of all trash and packing materials
  • One year in-home service of manufacturer's defects

Please note: Home Furniture Plus Bedding will not haul away old furniture or mattresses. NO exceptions.

Merchandise must be inspected by the customer or recipient prior to picking up and leaving Home Furniture Plus Bedding properties. Home Furniture Plus Bedding is not responsible for any damage or defect caused by transportation of the item(s). If you have a problem we will be glad to schedule an appointment for in-home inspection/investigation.

All approved exchanges on merchandise picked up by the customer require that the merchandise be returned by the customer. If the customer elects to have the exchanged merchandise delivered, a delivery charge of $99 will be required.
