The Sofamaster Story

Sofamaster is a Texas-based family-owned & family-operated company that designs and manufactures upholstered furniture in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico. We were founded on July 5th, 1985, by Sandra and Jorge Contreras, with 5 employees and a 7,000 sq. ft. facility. Today, with the 2nd generation running the company, it has grown to a team that includes more than 300 employees and has expanded into a 180,000 sq. ft. facility. Sofamaster's high-quality furniture is distributed and sold in the United States through leading retail partners via brick-and-mortar and e-commerce.
